Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is off and battery disconnected.

  1. Connect wiring harness: Match colors (Red to ignition, Yellow to constant 12V, Black to ground, etc.).
  2. Connect speakers: Match speaker wires (Gray/White/Green/Purple pairs).
  3. Connect antenna plug to rear antenna input.
  4. Slide unit into dashboard DIN sleeve and secure with mounting brackets.
  5. Reconnect vehicle battery and test unit.

WARNING! Disconnect vehicle battery before installation to prevent short circuits. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

First-Time Setup

Power on the unit; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set the clock: Press and hold the CLOCK button, adjust with VOLUME knob.
  2. Program radio presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold a preset button (1-6/1-18).
  3. Adjust audio settings: Use BASS/TREBLE controls in menu.

  3. Select AUX mode by pressing SOURCE button.
  4. Control playback and volume from the connected device.

Tip: For best audio quality, set the connected device's volume to about 75% and adjust final volume on the car stereo.

Playing CD/MP3 Media

Supports Audio CDs and MP3 files on CD-R/RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, load CD label-side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; unit starts playback automatically.
  3. Skip tracks: Press | for previous/next track.
  4. Fast Search: Press and hold | during playback.
  5. Repeat/Random: Press RPT or RDM during play.
  6. Scan: Press SCAN to sample first 10 seconds of each track.
  7. MP3 Navigation: Use | to skip folders (if applicable).
  8. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc.

WARNING! Do not use irregularly shaped or damaged discs. Do not insert foreign objects into the CD slot.

Security Features

Detachable Faceplate: Remove to disable unit operation. Faceplate Storage: Use provided protective case. Security Code: Not standard on this model; theft deterrence relies on physical faceplate removal.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for faceplate and display. For stubborn dirt, dampen cloth slightly with water.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents, benzene, or chemical cleaners. Keep faceplate away from extreme heat or direct sunlight when stored.

Troubleshooting
