Installation

Prepare vehicle and gather tools. Disconnect negative battery terminal before installation.

  1. Remove existing stereo: Use removal keys or tools specific to your vehicle.
  2. Connect wiring harness: Match colors (red-ignition, yellow-battery, black-ground).
  3. Connect speakers: Ensure proper polarity (positive/negative).
  4. Install mounting sleeve: Secure in dashboard opening.
  5. Insert main unit: Slide into sleeve until it clicks.
  6. Reconnect battery and test functions.

WARNING! Ensure proper grounding. Route wires away from moving parts and heat sources.

First-Time Setup

After installation, configure basic settings for optimal performance.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use tuning knob to set time.
  2. Program radio presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold preset button (1-6).
  3. Adjust audio settings: Use BASS/TREBLE controls for preferred sound.
  4. Test CD playback: Insert disc to ensure proper loading and playback.
  5. Attach faceplate: Slide onto main unit until it clicks securely.

CAUTION! Do not force faceplate. Ensure unit is powered off when attaching/detaching.

Playing Media
