Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is turned off.

  1. Disconnect negative battery terminal: For safety during installation.
  2. Remove existing stereo: Use DIN removal tools if necessary.
  3. Connect wiring harness: Match wire colors (red-ignition, yellow-battery, black-ground).
  4. Connect speakers: Ensure proper polarity (positive/negative).
  5. Connect antenna plug: Push firmly into antenna socket.
  6. Slide unit into dashboard: Secure with mounting sleeve.
  7. Reconnect battery and test.

First-Time Setup

Reconnect battery; power on unit.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/SEEK to adjust.
  2. Program radio stations: Tune to desired station, press and hold preset button (1-6).
  3. Adjust audio settings: Use BASS, TREBLE, FADER, BALANCE controls.
  4. Test CD playback: Insert disc to verify operation.

Connecting Devices

AUX Input: 3.5mm stereo mini-jack on front panel. Power Antenna: Blue wire from harness. Amplifier: Use pre-out connections if adding external amp.

  1. Turn off vehicle ignition before connecting devices.
  2. Connect portable player to AUX IN using 3.5mm cable.
  3. Select AUX mode by pressing SOURCE button.
  4. Control volume from portable device and car stereo.

Tip: Use high-quality cables for best audio performance.

Playing CD Media

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW (must be finalised).

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT to open tray, place disc label-up, gently push to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY or SOURCE to select CD mode; playback starts automatically.
  3. Skip tracks: Press >>| or |<< to skip forward/backward.
  4. Pause: Press PLAY/PAUSE to temporarily halt playback.
  5. Repeat: Press RPT button to repeat current track or all tracks.
  6. Random: Press RDM button for random track playback.
  7. Eject: Press EJECT to remove disc; unit must be on.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregular shaped discs. Avoid extreme temperatures.

Security Features

Detachable Faceplate: Primary theft deterrent. Remove when leaving vehicle. Security Code: Optional code can be set (see manual). If power disconnected, code may be required upon reconnection.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect battery before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for faceplate and unit. For CD lens, use approved cleaning disc only.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Keep faceplate away from direct sunlight and heat.
