Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is off and battery disconnected.

  1. Remove existing stereo: Use removal tools if necessary.
  2. Connect wiring harness: Match colors (Red: +12V ignition, Yellow: +12V constant, Black: Ground, etc.).
  3. Connect antenna adapter: Plug into vehicle antenna cable.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

  1. Turn off unit before connecting devices.
  2. Plug aux cable into AUX IN jack on front/rear.
  3. Select AUX source by pressing SOURCE repeatedly.

Playing CD Media

Supports CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, load CD label side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; select track with numeric buttons or TUNE/SEEK.
  3. Stop: Press OPEN/CLOSE to eject; unit stops automatically.
  4. Skip: Press TUNE/SEEK left/right for previous/next track.
  5. Repeat/Random: Press RPT or RDM during play.
  6. Scan: Press SCAN to sample each track.
  7. Intro: Plays first 10 seconds of each track.
  8. CD Text: Displays if disc is encoded.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregular-shaped discs. Avoid extreme temperatures.

Security Features

Detachable Faceplate: Remove when parked to deter theft. Security Code: Optional code can be set (default 0000). If power lost, enter code to unlock.

Care & Cleaning

Use soft, dry cloth for faceplate and unit. For CD lens, use approved cleaning disc only.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Keep faceplate away from direct sunlight and heat.
