Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is off and battery disconnected.

  1. Remove existing stereo: Use DIN tools to release old unit.
  2. Connect wiring harness: Match colors (Red to ignition, Yellow to battery constant, Black to ground).
  3. Connect speakers: Match speaker wire polarity (+/-).
  4. Connect antenna plug: Push firmly into antenna socket.
  5. Secure unit: Slide into DIN slot until it clicks; attach mounting sleeve if provided.
  6. Reconnect battery and test.

WARNING! Disconnect vehicle battery before installation to prevent short circuits. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

First-Time Setup

Reconnect battery; power on the unit.

  1. Set the clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/SEEK to set time.
  2. Program radio presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold a numbered button (1-6) for 2 seconds.
  3. Adjust audio settings: Use BASS/TREBLE or BASS BOOST buttons to preference.
  4. Detach faceplate: Press RELEASE button and store securely when leaving vehicle.

Playing Media

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped CDs. Do not insert foreign objects into the CD slot.

Security Features

Detachable Faceplate: Primary theft deterrent. Remove by pressing RELEASE button. Security Code (if equipped): Code can be set to disable unit if power is disconnected. Refer to manual for code setting procedure.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for faceplate and display. For CD lens, use approved CD lens cleaner only.
