Installation

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the stereo and configure initial settings.

  1. Set the clock: Press and hold the CLOCK or SETUP button, then use the tuning knob or numeric keys to set the correct time.
  2. Program radio presets: Tune to a desired station, press and hold a numbered button (1-6) to store it as a preset.
  3. Adjust audio settings: Use the EQ or SOUND menu to set bass, treble, balance (left/right), and fader (front/rear) to your preference.
  4. Attach the faceplate: Slide the detachable faceplate onto the main unit until it clicks into place.

CAUTION! Always detach the faceplate and store it securely when leaving the vehicle unattended to deter theft.

Connecting Devices

  2. Plug one end of the cable into the device's headphone jack, the other into the AUX IN jack on the front or side of the unit.
  3. Select AUX mode by pressing the SOURCE button until "AUX" appears on the display.
  4. Start playback on the external device and adjust volume on both the device and the car stereo.

Tip: For best audio quality, set the external device's volume to about 75% and use the car stereo's volume control for final adjustment.

Playing CD Media

Supports standard audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs.

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT to open the slot (if applicable), load the CD with label side up, then gently push the disc in or press EJECT again to close.
  2. Play: The CD should start playing automatically. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  3. Skip tracks: Press the >>| (NEXT) or |<< (PREV) buttons to skip forward or backward.
  4. Fast forward/rewind: Press and hold NEXT or PREV during playback.
  5. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Off, 1, All). Press RANDOM to shuffle track order.
  6. Eject: Press EJECT to stop playback and eject the disc.

WARNING! Do not insert damaged, warped, or non-standard discs. Do not use in extreme temperatures. Avoid touching the disc's playing surface.

Security Features

Detachable Faceplate: The primary theft deterrent. Always remove it when leaving the vehicle. Security Code (if equipped): If the unit loses power, you may need to enter a preset code to reactivate it. Refer to your original purchase documentation for the code.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect the vehicle battery before cleaning the unit. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe the faceplate and display. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or compressed air.

CAUTION! Never use chemical sprays directly on the unit. Ensure the faceplate is completely dry before reattaching it to the main unit.

Troubleshooting
