Initial Setup & Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery.

Playing Music

  1. Switch to FM mode from main menu.
  2. Auto-scan: Select "Auto Tuning" to find and save stations automatically.
  3. Manual tune: Use scroll wheel to adjust frequency.
  4. Save preset: Hold PRESET button when desired station is playing.
  5. Recall preset: Press PRESET and select saved station number.

Note: FM reception may vary based on location and antenna (earphone cable acts as antenna).

File Management

Transfer music files via USB Mass Storage Class (no drivers required for most OS).

  1. Connect player to computer via USB cable.
  2. Player appears as removable drive; drag and drop audio files into "MUSIC" folder.
  3. Safely eject from computer before disconnecting USB.
  4. Use SonicStage software (optional) for ATRAC3plus format conversion and playlist sync.
