Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure you have the correct wiring harness for your vehicle.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
Remove the existing stereo from the dashboard.
Connect the Sony wiring harness to the vehicle's harness (match colors: red to ignition, yellow to constant power, black to ground).
Connect the antenna cable.
Slide the mounting sleeve into the dashboard opening.
Insert the stereo into the sleeve until it clicks into place.
Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

WARNING! Installation should be performed by a qualified professional. Incorrect wiring can cause damage or fire hazard.

First-Time Setup

Power on the stereo; follow initial setup prompts.

Set the clock: Press and hold the CLOCK button, then use TUNE/TRACK to adjust.
Program radio presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold a preset button (1-6) for FM1/FM2/AM bands.
Adjust audio settings: Use SOUND button to cycle through Bass, Treble, Balance, Fader.
Attach the faceplate: Align and push until it clicks.

Troubleshooting
