Installation

Unpack and verify all components. Ensure vehicle is parked with ignition off.

Playing Media

  3. Navigation: Use TRACK UP/DOWN or rotary knob to skip tracks/folders.
  4. Repeat/Random: Press FUNCTION during playback to cycle modes.
  5. Scan: Press and hold TRACK UP/DOWN to scan through tracks.
  6. CD Text/ID3 Tag: Display shows track info if available.

WARNING! Do not insert damaged or irregular-shaped discs. Avoid extreme temperatures for media storage.

Bluetooth Pairing

For hands-free calling and audio streaming.

  1. Press SOURCE to select BT mode. Display shows "BT READY".
  2. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices.
  3. Select "SONY XR-4900" from list. If prompted, enter PIN "0000".
  4. Once connected, "BT PHONE" or "BT AUDIO" will appear.
  5. To make a call: Use phone's dialer or voice command. Volume adjusts automatically during calls.

Note: Up to 5 devices can be paired; only one can be connected at a time.

Care & Maintenance

Use soft, dry cloth for cleaning. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth slightly with water. Do not use solvents.

CAUTION! Always detach faceplate before cleaning. Do not expose unit to direct sunlight or moisture for extended periods.
